DB-KILLER REQUIREMENT for Non-Original Exhaust Systems
To comply with the noise limits imposed by current regulations, the Misano World Circuit is equipped with monitoring units that continuously measure the overall noise level of the circuit. To avoid suspension of on-track activities, all motorcycles fitted with non-original exhaust systems must be mandatorily equipped with a DB-killer. Vehicles may be subject to sound level checks, including random inspections, at track access points or during the day. If the limit of 102 dB is exceeded or if the DB-killer is missing, access to the track will not be permitted.
The Track Manager of the Misano World Circuit reserves the right to exclude from practice any vehicle that does not comply with these requirements. In such cases, the day cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
It is the rider’s responsibility to verify, prior to booking, that they meet the requirements necessary to participate in on-track activities.
We are aware that some exhaust systems are not designed to accommodate a DB-killer; however, it is possible to have dedicated DB-killers custom-made for each type of exhaust silencer.
