The signing of the contract

A very interesting start to the week for the Rosso Corsa Team that in the morning met Stefano Valtulini to sign the contract that would start a new season for the rider from Bergamo.
Under the wing of Team Manager Beppe Amato, Stefano will compete in the Supersport 600 category of the Elf Civ 2021 championship riding one of the Yamaha R6s prepared in the Rosso Corsa racing department. The challenge for Stefano will be to switch from the familiar Kawasaki bikes he has raced for many years to the stunning red and black Yamaha R6.

The results
The Supersport 600 category is a class that Stefano knows very well given his participation in 3 championships, and the excellent result achieved in 2020 which saw him place third in the overall standings.

The first tests

Misano, on 23rd March, would be the stage for the first tests of the Rosso Corsa team riders, Stefano Valtulini and Nicola Settimo. Riding the team’s Yamaha bikes they would officially get acquainted with the team of technicians led by Andrea Gerini.

Stefano Valtulini :
“I am very happy because joining the Rosso Corsa team gives me a lot of ambitions, I know that I will be able to feel comfortable with regard to the technical part thanks to the professionals with whom I will be able to collaborate and I have a lot of respect for Beppe as a team manager.
The desire to start working is so great especially because getting on a Yamaha after so many years of racing with Kawasaki intrigues me … I can’t wait to try the bike, test my limits and possibilities!
The goal is clear, with a team of this level and my skills, what we will try to do is getting on the top step of the podium, it will not be easy because the level of the championship is very high but we will do everything to achieve it! ”

Nicola Settimo :
“In these two days of testing, I can’t wait to get out on the track and get to know the team and the bike in this completely new category for me, they will be two important days to start learning as much as possible! “
