ROCCOLI IN IMOLA IN HONOUR OF PANTANI WITH A SPECIAL HELMET

Friday 10 May 2019

Rosso Corsa team rider Massimo Roccoli honors the memory of Marco Pantani with a commemorative helmet that he will use in the World SSP race in Imola.

Massimo Roccoli riding the Yamaha R6 prepared by Rosso Corsa Team will participate as a wild card in the fifth round of the World Supersport Championship, on the occasion of the Pirelli Italian Round that will take place this weekend at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari circuit in Imola.

The rider from Romagna has decided to remember the late champion Marco Pantani with a commemorative helmet that he will use in Sunday’s race. The graphics designed on the Caberg Drift Evo helmet are the work of Lopo Design Lab, which together with Roccoli has decided how to represent the memory of the unforgettable champion.

The idea was born among friends who are passionate about two wheels, who have never forgotten Pantani and remembered him on the anniversary of his death on February 14, fifteen years ago.

Pantani’s mother will also be in Imola on Sunday to support Roccoli in memory of her son. At the end of the race the helmet will be donated to the Marco Pantani Foundation.

The desire to remember Marco therefore finds its occasion in Roccoli’s world event in Imola, desired by Roccoli himself, realized by Lopo Design Lab and sponsored by Caberg, which for three years has been supplying its helmets to the six-time Italian Supersport champion.
