The second appointment with the Italian Speed ​​Championship was held on the weekend of 13-14 May at the international Mugello racetrack. We leave the Misano round behind us, which represented the team’s first real approach to the new bike and the new rider.

The weather conditions did not favor the drivers who found themselves completing a few laps in both the dry and wet without being able to study and above all test a winning strategy in view of the race. However, during the weekend we worked hard with the aim of making the bike perform well, allowing Alessandro to find the right feeling.

Despite the absence of tests before the start of the championship and the few laps collected over the weekend due to bad weather, the result arrived during qualifying which led Andreozzi to conquer second position on the starting grid.

Sunday’s race takes place in wet track conditions and despite the little preparation for this eventuality the result is an excellent fifth place! The climb up the rankings therefore continues and from seventh place in Misano sees Andreozzi quickly gain 2 positions!
